Construction pants are ubiquitous in Singapore, with many residents opting for them in the city centre.
But what is construction pants?
Are they good for you?
And are they safe?
In a recent survey of Singaporeans, more than a quarter of respondents said they were wearing construction pants for construction work, according to the news agency The Straits Times.
This has led to some concerns over safety.
Some people, like Jee Yeo, a construction worker, have said they worry about the safety of wearing construction clothes, which are often made from fabric that can be easily damaged.
The survey also found that one in four respondents said construction clothes were uncomfortable, while another said they felt unsafe wearing them.
And some women are worried about the impact of wearing such clothes on their physical appearance.
