Juventus’ new signing Gabbie Mestral and his new team-mates have discussed their return in Italy ahead of Sunday’s clash with Inter.
Mestral, the club’s new signing from Fiorentina, is expected to start his career in Turin, where he will join a side that already has some Champions League experience, having been in the Italian top flight for three seasons.
Gabbiada, a former Italian international, will make his debut on the field against the Serie A side.
He will be joined by Mestra, who scored in the 2-1 win at Sassuolo in the previous round, as well as Lazio’s Paulo Gazzaniga and Inter’s Gabbiani.
The duo also discussed their future at the San Siro, where the club is set to make a change to its starting XI following the departure of Leonardo Bonucci.
Bonucci is set for a return to the club after the World Cup, with the Italian club wanting to make up for the departure by adding another attacking option to the squad.
Gazzanagi is the only player not yet signed to a new contract at the club, which was previously sold to AC Milan in 2012 for €26 million.
The pair also discussed Gabbiano’s transfer, which would bring the former Juventus midfielder to Turina.
Mastral, who has made 10 Serie A appearances for Juventus since arriving in 2013, was an unused substitute in their 4-2 defeat at Roma last season.
